To claim it, you need to enable extra usage in your account settings and hit the "Claim" button on the Usage page banner. The deadline is April 17, 2026, and the credit expires 90 days after you claim it. You must have been subscribed by April 3 at 9 AM Pacific to qualify.
The credit covers usage across Claude, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and third-party products. That last part is the key detail: this is Anthropic's cushion for users who relied on tools like OpenClaw through their subscription and now face separate pay-as-you-go billing for that same usage.
Anthropic is also offering up to 30% off pre-purchased usage bundles, though specific bundle tiers and pricing haven't been published yet. If you don't want auto-reload charging your card after the credit runs out, make sure to check your settings before enabling extra usage.
